Flagship Series
A multi-stage series following the hand-construction of an 18'10" wooden sailing dory, built inside our canvas wall tent workshop in North Idaho.
Laying ground foundations, clearing timber, and engineering a level floating platform on the Idaho hillside before winter sets in.
Erecting the 16'x25' Sunforger canvas wall tent studio, installing wood stove heating, and setting up the timber workshop space.
Stitch-and-glue lapstrake construction, beveling bulkheads, filleting seams, and glassing the hull with bio-based resins alongside our children.
Sanding, applying environmentally mindful marine finishes, shaping oars, step-fitting the lug rig spars, and custom trailer prep.
The maiden voyage on Lake Pend Oreille, testing the lug sail under mountain winds, and compiling the full season story.
Looking Ahead
Season One is where the story begins, but our compass points toward a lifetime of purposeful projects. Future endeavors will expand into timber framing, traditional cabin craft, overland expeditions, and homestead stewardship.
We are building a legacy for future generations—creating physical traditions, passing down practical skills, and embedding deep meaning into the places and things we touch.
